My style changes specific to student's learning style, available materials, and the ever-changing rules of my workplace. Start with a Hook: video clip, song, maze, art activity, question, riddle, object, game etc. Explain the day's objectives with checkboxes. Model the completion of the assignment. Ask questions and give feedback. Have students support each other during practice as group. Have students practice individually. Assess students for mastery. Ask questions and gather feedback for implications for future teaching.

Hello, I am currently teaching at a juvenile correctional facility. I am interested in creating and finding materials that will make teaching 8 (up to 16) different English classes simultaneously!. I need state of Ohio materials that will cover all the ELA Common Core requirements while aligning with the specific materials in the required computerized program. With computer problems arising frequently, I also need printables that will be available during such times. I love to write and read, but lately I've been juggling grading and coordinating this huge task of finding time to create appropriate, engaging lesson plans for disabled youth under strict guidelines: no rap music; no music, no videos, no dictionaries, no required books, no devices, no internet, no chatrooms (so electronic books that could be played from a digital source that include common required books for youth are of interest as are plays and novels that can be saved to a digital library like Windows Media Player.
