TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching high school English for the past 12 years. I have taught students at all different levels -from lower level to honors students. I primarily teacher American Literature and World Literature.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a student-centered working environment. Most of my products are student-centered and attempt to make literature relevant to the lives of teenagers. They also focus on skills linked to the standards.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my B.A. in English and Secondary Education from William Paterson University, and I received my M.A.Ed. from The College of Saint Elizabeth.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am an advocate of educational technology. I believe that technology can help improve lessons, but should not be the focus of lesson creation. I have attended and facilitated many PD seminars on educational technology and blended learning.
