TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching science for 29 years. I have been teaching marine biology 8 of those years. Teaching marine biology is my passion.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I wrote and designed the entire marine biology curriculum that is offered at my school. It is entirely project based. I believe in a real-world project based hands on classroom. I believe it should be student centered. I have been flip teaching since 2011 and would never go back to lecturing. My classroom is also gamified and I utilize a tremendous amount of technology as appropriate including AR and VR.
