I have been an educator my entire life as I have always wanted to teach. I started out giving my little sister and her teddy bears math lessons in the early nineties. Needless to say when it came time for me to go to college, I knew what I wanted to do. It wasn't until I took a job in an intervention program that I knew I wanted to work in Special Education. I am finishing up my third year in the Monterey area of California and though it is very challenging, exhausting, and often under-appreciated... I love my career and my wonderful students!
I am trying my very best to become an expert at differentiating my lessons. I prefer project based learning because it allows my students to demonstrate mastery in a variety of ways! I also try to be organized.

In 2011 I received a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies, an Education Specialist Teacher Credential in 2014, in 2017 I received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and in 1 month I will have a second Masters in Instructional Design.
