TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started my career teaching 5th grade littles and moved up to teach 7th grade after two years. I have worked at a school that was predominately low socioeconomic and ESL/ELL. I have had experience with Project Based Learning in both 5th and 7th grades and have seen the benefits of learning communities and student driven learning.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to get as many books in my kids hands as possible because reading helps their writing and vice versa. I want my kids to do their own thinking, so I use as many PBL strategies as I can in my classroom.
