My passion is international education. While in college, I've had the opportunity to experience international teaching experiences in both Botswana and Belize. After experiencing these opportunities, I decided to launch a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide some of the hardest to reach teachers across the world with a global support system to empower them and aid in improving the quality of instruction they are able to deliver. (Pink Elephant: www.peinternational.org for more info) In addition to running this organization as a co-executive director, I am also a primary (K-2) special education resource teacher. Whether its classrooms in Kenya or Kentucky, I love working in the education field to support students and teachers with the goal of improving quality of education for all at my core. Follow my education journey at my blog: www.teachtheworldinprimary.blogspot.com If you'd like to learn more about Pink Elephant, or get involved in supporting our partner teachers in Kenya, please visit www.PEinternational.org Please also feel free to reach me by email: Lauren@Peinternational.org
