TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a pediatric occupational therapist who is homeschooling her two dyslexic kids. I have successfully taught them to read using an orton-gillingham based approach and decodable readers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like for my kids to enjoy what they are learning but to not be stressed while learning. I believe that they can't learn when they are stressed or experiencing anxiety. That is why I firmly believe in providing decodable text when they are learning to read!
