TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching in Baltimore City since 2009. I've taught Pre-K, 3rd grade, Spanish and now I am back in 1st grade. I have created many resources for my kids over the years, and in the last year since I learned about TpT, I decided to start sharing these with the world, hoping to help other fellow teachers make the transition easier.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching students through meaningful workshops (centers), hands-on activities, writing projects, and real-experience. I believe that every child should see the importance of how the work they do today will impact their tomorrow.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from John Hopkins University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2011. Completed my Bachelors degree in Psychology at the UMBC. Before starting college I worked/volunteered in different Adult ESOL programs as a teacher. During my last year of high school, I completed a year-long internship at a local elementary.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am married to an amazing husband who also happens to be a teacher. I am the proud mom of one very lovable boy. I hope one day to expand my family and continue to work on balancing my life and work. I love my school, my team, my students and their families. I can see myself teaching here for many years and growing old with this school.
