TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in both public and charter schools. I taught for 5 years in public and charter schools with 20 or over in a class, and 5 years in Alternative Education. I have taught mainly ELA, but have worked collaboratively with a multitude of subjects, including electives, to integrate a multitude of different concepts and subjects into ELA curriculum.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe highly that technology is an essential tool that should be used in the classroom. I also believe that establishing relationships with students, while also using meaningful classroom lessons and assignments enhances engagement and student learning.
