TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, AP Literature and Composition, College Writing, and Creative Writing. I currently teach 9th and 12th grade English.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach in New York where we have adopted the curriculum provided by the state. I have less flexibility than I once did, but I still I strive to make each lesson relevant by connecting the material to student's lives. I hold my students to a high standard emphasizing internal motivation and accountability. I try to always have a smile on my face, keep a positive attitude, and laugh whenever possible.
