TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 20+ years. I started when I was in high school, teaching 2 year olds at a local day care center and have taught every grade from kindergarten through 5th grade as well as at the University of South Carolina with pre-service undergrad and MAT students. I spent many years teaching teachers how to teach kids to read and I am currently teaching in a primary Montessori classroom and loving every minute of it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in the inherent brilliance of children! They bring a great deal of knowledge and background to every learning situation and I am always listening and observing all they have to offer to the educational process.
