Creating engaging resources for improved student learning has been my passion since I began teaching 24 years ago. I have taught Japanese to all year levels from K-12, German and History to middle school, ESL to adults, been a classroom teacher for years 5 and 6, and a CRT (substitute teacher) in all year levels and all subjects. I have also taught in African and Japanese schools. Teaching is my calling and designing great units of work and resources is my biggest strength.
I love learning and inspiring that same love in students as we inquire, investigate, share, encourage, delve, experience and experiment together.

I enjoy keeping up-to-date on best-teaching practices by regularly participating in MOOCs and webinars in the education field, and by subscribing to education blogs and magazines such as EdWeek. I embed these theories and practices into my resources.
