I have over 28 years of teaching experience both in the United States and overseas. I've been a Curriculum Specialist for Early Childhood as well.
I feel children learn best in an active, engaging environment. I love to incorporate games, discussions, and group work in lessons every day.
I was awarded teacher of the year at my elementary school, and one of the top three in my district.
I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, and a Masters Degree in Special Education.
My career path has taken me to teach in both South Korea and Germany! My husband is German, and together with our two school-age children we love to travel both in the U.S. and abroad! We also love camping and fly-fishing. My children attend school in the same district where I teach. We live in a close-knit area, and I love seeing my school kiddos both in and outside of school. Our dog, Liam, is a wonderful addition to our family and helps us to make friends wherever we go!
