Educator Grades 6 -12, 8 Years Educational Consultant, 3 Years
I believe that progressive and holistic education offers students the opportunity to intentionally learn about themselves and the world around them through the use of windows and mirrors and investigation into historical and current events. My work has been grounded in providing students multiple avenues to see not only themselves and their experiences reflected in the classroom but also the experiences of those who are often silenced or overlooked. I am passionate in my goal to help students foster positive identity development, social-emotional and leadership skills, as well as academic knowledge.
I am certified in Maryland and New York.
I am a graduate of the illustrious Clark Atlanta University with a degree in History, and Bard College with a Master of Arts in Teaching,
