TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 18 years in the areas of 5 - 12 Communications and English Language Arts and K-12 Reading. I specialize in creating novel units that incorporate all common core areas for Language Arts teachers. My students use technology along with their daily lessons, so often times materials will include ideas and apps to help supplement the unit. Experience with Honors courses and differentiating lessons to meet students' needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is best described as facilitator. I want to get my students thinking about a subject and am there to support them as they work on finding answers and create lessons to engage them in the learning. Many of my lessons integrate technology within them.
