TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I tutored in high school as part of the French National Honor Society, and I've tutored on InstaEdu (now Chegg Tutors), mostly in essay writing. I am a fourth grade science and writing teacher! And I student taught in Kindergarten. In addition, my other pre-service experience is primarily in Kindergarten, where I've spent over 170 hours over three semesters volunteering (I have about 20 additional hours in first grade).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every student deserves your full attention, your heartfelt belief in their ability to succeed, and your support to help get them to that goal.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Collin College with my Associate of Arts in Teaching EC-6 and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with my Bachelor of Science in Child Learning and Development. My TX certifications: EC-6 Generalist & ESL Supplemental

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I've wanted to be a teacher for a long time - the running joke being that I never wanted to leave school. School was always enjoyable for me, but I know that it isn't naturally that way for all students, so I want to help cultivate a love for learning from an early age. I am happily married, and my husband and I have a joyful toddler of whom we just can't get enough! I enjoy reading, photography, and dabbling in different arts and crafts such as crocheting in my spare time.
