I am in my 6th year teaching Spanish… I love trying new activities every year!

MY TEACHING STYLE

In addition to making activities that build a communicative language foundation, my favorite activities are those that really connect with students or inspire a curiosity about the world and cultures around them. For this reason I like to use songs, comics, authentic language in context, and interesting cultural resources in my classroom.

I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Language Education, and I am currently working on my Master´s in Spanish Language Teaching through Southern Oregon University. My studies abroad include Guatemala, Spain, and currently Guanajuato, Mexico over the summers.
