I taught kindergarten for 3 years and second grade for 2 years. I was the inclusion teacher for four of my five years teacher. I'm now a "work at home" mommy of one (and another due on April 20, 2014). I am teaching my toddler my own form of pre-K at home and sharing our progress on my blog. I also tutor K-5 students.
I believe giving my students' ownership of the classroom and teaching them to manage their own behaviors. Teaching is a passion of mine. I believe children learn by doing and I believe firmly in creating a classroom community where students feel safe to be creative and take risks.
