TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for over ten years now. I have learned a lot in those ten years and have been progressing as an educator and a person. I have learned a great deal from my students and am humble enough to admit that I am not perfect. I do my best to learn from others and be a positive force in the lives of my students and to our school community.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students learn best when they can function as a classroom community. We have a Morning Meeting each day in order to build our rapport with one another and to develop team and communication skills. Utilizing small groups and peer-led activities I guide the students through our curriculum and work to access the learning styles of all stakeholders.
