I have experience teaching grades 6-12 in English Language Arts, Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, Sociology, Introduction to Philosophy, and American History. I have also taught literature courses at the post-secondary level.
I expect my students to take control of their own learning. I give them the tools they need, and I want them to seize the opportunity to learn something. I also lead by example by constantly challenging myself and discovering new things.
