I have been an educator for 10 years. I taught several courses in the area of Business Education, including Accounting, Computer Applications, Marketing, and IB Business and Management. I now work as a Regional Career and Technical Education Supervisor.
Teachers should have high expectations for all their students and assist them in reaching their individual potential. To facilitate this process, teachers need to be compassionate and prepared to deliver high quality instruction.
I was the 2011 Teacher of the Year for my school, and then advanced to become one of the Top 10 Teachers of the Year in the Muscogee County School District.
I received a bachelor of science in journalism and economics from Florida A& M University. Then, I later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland at College Park. After beginning my career in education, I received by teacher certification through the PACTE program at the University of Georgia and a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.
I am happily married to another teacher, and we have three children.
