TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We are a two-person team who have been in the field of education for more than twenty years. Rose: I am currently a literacy coach, working in the professional development dept. in a few schools, training and consulting with teachers about all things ELA-related. In the past three years, I've focused on Common Core, helping teachers prepare their students for the NYS ELA test. In the past, I've taught middle school, high school, and college. Leo: I am a writer and producer of Board of Ed-approved textbooks for parochial schools. My books have been used in numerous schools for more than fifteen years. I created and published a complete Reading unit of study, with books ranging from basic phonics to stories at fifth grade level. Additionally, I created and published several books on social studies and history.
