MY TEACHING STYLE

My background is in reading and science. I am a former Reading Recovery teacher and hold an M.A in Science Education, K-8. I teach daily using Thinking Maps structures, Interactive Writing, Writer's Workshop and Guided Reading for Language Arts. Since Science is my passion, I incorporate writing through interactive notebooks and interactive or shared writing. Writing is interwoven throughout the day!
