I have 6 years of math teaching experience in grades 6-12 and 3 years of experience as the Director of Mathematics for K-12.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want to make math easy for students. I develop my lessons to focus on building those foundational skills, so that the more complex skills seem easy for students. Sequencing and conceptual structures are key to the products that I use to teach.

I spent 8 years in the USAF as a Bio-Environmental Engineer. It was wonderful to use my math skills in a different setting. I brought many of the math problems that I encountered to my students to solve. They loved being able to use their math is a "real life" setting.
