TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 5th year in the classroom! My first two years were spent in pre-k through Teach for America, and ever since, I've been teaching the wonderful world of kindergarten. I love helping the young ones gain a strong educational foundation!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom has a mix of whole group, small group, and independent centers. I love for my students to utilize games and play in order to gain skills and knowledge - they should find learning to be fun!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Southern California (Fight On!) and my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I’m not busy in the classroom, I spend my downtime baking (it’s my de-stressor!), binge-watching Netflix, reading new books (I’m obsessed with Harry Potter), drinking tea at a local cafe, and with my family and friends. I love to travel and have a bit of wanderlust – I’m always thinking my next destination. And if it’s football season, you can be sure to find me at a USC football game!
