TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Alexandra is currently a public school teacher with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in Florida, Maryland, and for the DODEA school systems. She has taught both primary and intermediate grades. Alexandra is a veteran as she served in the Navy and uses her experiences traveling the world to create educational resources that enhance global citizenship.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands-on teacher who infuses literature across the curriculum. Routine and discipline are a big part of my in classroom teaching style. Away from the classroom, I strive to ensure that educational activities are interactive and immersive. I don't subscribe to the look and see method. Instead I believe that the most important word in learning is "do".
