TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started my journey in education when I became a special education paraprofessional. Within two weeks of being in this position I knew I needed to change my college major to elementary education. I loved everything about helping students become their best! After moving to a different school district to complete my student teaching I fit right in to my new "family" and have stayed ever since. I completed 2nd semester that year as a kindergarten teacher before being moved to 3rd grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The students in my classroom enjoy a lot of group activity and interaction. I find they learn best when they are moving around the room or interacting in a group discussion.

From the moment I began working in education I knew I was home. Now that I teach my own group of rambunctious third graders I feel even more passionate about this calling!
