TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello, everyone! I am a Reading Specialist in a K-5 school and am in my 22nd year in education. Over the years, I've taught Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and Developmental Reading in grades K-8. I also published a 5th grade Common Core workbook for Kaplan/Barron’s Educational Series.

I have a B.S. in Special Education, an M.A. in Reading, and a Doctorate in Education/Design of Learning Environments where I researched new literacies (eBooks and comprehension). I hold certifications as a Reading Specialist, Special Education Teacher, Elementary Education Teacher, Supervisor, and Principal.
