I have taught Living Environment, Anatomy, Forensic Science, Marine Biology, Chemistry, Physics, 7th grade General Science, Science research and parts of Earth Science. I am well rounded in Science and Math. As of summer 2018, have 8 years of teaching experience. I also have been tutoring for about 9 years. It is hard to keep up with uploading new resources at my current state because the teaching profession is so demanding. However, with more classroom experience I have some great resources planned to come out in the future.
A typical lesson: 5min do now engagement, powerpoint with guided notes for about 15 min while students ask questions or share their experiences related to the topic, students do practice questions while I circulate around the room helping, then review, then a final question or statement summarizing the lesson. I incorporate many types of teaching styles in different parts of lessons. I observe what other teachers do well and try to practice it for myself.
Yet to be added
I have a BS degree in Biochemistry and a MAT in Chemistry.
I absolutely love making and creating new resources. I am constantly asking other teachers and students for constructive criticism so I can improve. I am very reflective on my lessons, worksheets and other things I have created and put into practice.
