TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching middle school band for over 20 years and wouldn't change a thing. I love this age group and all of the challenges and excitement that go with it. I currently team-teach band, orchestra, and chorus with an incredible group of music educators. I also teach online and on campus graduate courses at VanderCook College of Music. I enjoy teaching adult learners and helping them become better teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The skills and experiences learned in music are essential to developing the whole child. I strive for all my students to work hard, persevere, and have fun in my classroom.
