TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 4th grade in New York State for 3 years followed by two years of 1st grade in a suburb outside of DC in Fairfax County. I am currently teaching a multi-age classroom (3rd and 4th) at a school in Connecticut.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Engage students..at every level. Find a way to hook them. Be explicit what introducing a new concept of study but give them room to explore new content for them to make it meaningful. If you are having fun and immersing yourself alongside the students, it will be contagious.
