TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Wife, mom, gardener, librarian, teacher, neighbor, …. Like most of you, I wear many hats. Now I'm attempting to find a way to share ideas for connecting books and gardens - with the hopes of creating more people concerned about genetic diversity and seed saving. I’ve been a member of the Seed Saver’s Exchange for 15 years and am an advocate of home gardening and seed saving. Reading and sharing books has been a passion for even longer than that. Hopefully I’m able to pass on some of my enthusiasm to you! I’d like to be able to offer resources to use with your family, in the classroom, with groups such as 4-H and Scouts, and more. As a teacher and librarian, I especially love finding the connections between books, plants, and history.
