TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Having grown up in a family of special educators, people with disabilities have always been a part of my life. I decided once I completed my undergraduate coursework that I wanted to work in the field of special education. I began as a paraprofessional where I gained a unique perspective of the classroom and worked for two years at the middle school level. Fast forward to now and I am currently in my fourth year of teaching where I have a K-2 Moderate-Severe class. I absolutely love my tiny humans!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that all students have strengths, that their abilities far outweigh their disabilities, that every student can teach you something and deserves your utmost respect and hard work. I absolutely love what I do and I'm just one of the lucky few who get to teach students with disabilities.
