TEACHING EXPERIENCE I have been teaching for thirteen years in a public school classroom. For fifteen years before that, I worked in higher education, so I have always worked in an educational setting. I love what I do, but I know it is often difficult to live the teacher life. We have many demands placed on our time. We have lesson plans we need to write, meetings we are required to attend, parents we must call, papers we must grade, the list goes on and on. In my situation, we never had a textbook, so I worked hard to create each unit in my Integrated Business Applications Curriculum. I quickly found out the it was often difficult for me to find ideas for innovative and engaging classroom lessons and activities. I have a passion for teaching and for technology. I have had teaching experience at both the middle school and college level. I have been sharing my units with local teachers, but then a colleague introduced me to Teachers Pay Teachers!!! This will be a great resource! Lets' Talk Tech!
I believe in providing my students with engaging and innovative opportunities to learn and appreciate how important computers are in our world today. My programs provide hands-on opportunities to learn how the applications work and how they can be applied to everyday life.

When I am not teaching, I love to read. I burn up my library card every summer because I do not have that much time to read during the school year! I love spending time with my husband and our two children, when they are around! We have a 25 year old daughter who is out on her own, and a 17 year old son who is always playing baseball! Oh and of course, you can usually find me at my computer!
