TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fifth-year teacher in Kentucky. My first three years, I taught a combination of Reading, Writing and Ancient History. Last year I taught US History and will be doing the same this year. I am a Writing Project Fellow and am currently going back to college to be a Teacher Leader.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am all about tapping into the students' curiosity to spark interest and initiative in the classroom. I like to engage the students by making learning relevant and tying the content to their lives.
