TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 1996. I have taught ESE Pre-K, Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, & Second grades. I currently teach Kindergarten and have been for 5 years. I am constantly reading about teaching and adding new ideas and practices to my teaching. I am the technology leader at my school. I help teachers with ActivInspire and other technology issues. I am a 1:1 classroom with laptops or desktops for all my students. I am constantly amazed at what Kindergarteners can do with technology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a combination of methods. I find whole group in necessary for some skills. I use small group instruction for reading and math. I differentiate most of my day. I integrate technology into many of my lessons each day.
