TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently a 1st and 2nd grade Special Education teacher for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder on the General Education curriculum. Special education teacher with experience teaching in high-needs/Title I schools. Experience teaching special education middle school science and social studies - co-teaching and self-contained classes for students with intellectual disabilities. Experience teaching intermediate self-contained class for students with autism and intellectual disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Incorporating high structure, routine, and consistency to build student comfort and set students up for success, all while working for for each student's Least Restrictive Environment. Adapting and modifying for each student and classroom's success.
