Teaching with Katie Nicole

I taught preschool for over 3 years. I enjoyed getting to know young children and helping them find a love for learning. I was a reading tutor in first and second grade for one year. This helped me develop ideas and activities for children to help them have fun and become more engaged in reading and writing. I have now been teaching third grade for four years. I love teaching third grade and I'm so happy to be back with this age group. I'm constantly reading and researching new ways to help my students.

I utilize the Whole Brain Teaching method with my students. I am always researching ways to help all of my students. I use fun and engaging resources to help students at all levels. Integrating technology and creating differentiated resources are ways I help reach all students needs and try to help my students become ready to succeed outside of the classroom as well.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from my university with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.
