TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught ESL (K-5) for 3 years, kindergarten for 3 years, Title I reading (K-5) for 2 years, 1st grade for 1 year, and 2nd grade for 2 years. I've also substitute taught, nannied, tutored, babysat, worked as a summer camp counselor for children with autism, and everything in between! As long as I can remember, I've worked with children and loved it.

I've earned 8 grants from DonorsChoose and 4 grants from my school district education association. All used to buy wonderful new books, technology, and supplies for my students!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm a teacher from lovely (and rainy) Portland, Oregon. I enjoy discovering new recipes and home decorating/organizing ideas on Pinterest, spending time with my wonderful husband and baby boy, going to the gym (especially to Zumba!), and spoiling my yorkie Chloe. I am constantly creating engaging workbooks and activities for my students and co-workers, so I thought I might as well share them with the world!
