TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a junior high mathematics teacher since 2005 at Unity Junior High, which is home to roughly 3,000 7th and 8th graders! I have taught a variety of student types including gifted, general education, ELL, and special education. From my experiences thus far, I have encountered countless student personalities and learning styles that have shaped my teaching style and the materials I both use and create with my students. I've learned that it's never too late to make changes / add options to your current practices or simply get ahead for the next school year. My belief is that simple ideas lead to engaged students who enjoy being a part of your classroom. That is my reasoning behind all of my creations. All of my products are classroom tested and student approved!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy creating my own materials and games to use in place of every day book work such as pre-assessments, extra credit, enrichment activities, and quizzes or tests. I believe in using materials that my students find self-motivating and engaging. Even better, it makes my job as a teacher easier and more enjoyable. Enjoy :D
