ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

We work out of Hong Kong, so we aren't quite sure yet if TpT is an appropriate place for us to market our e-books and teaching resources as our products aren't Common Core aligned! But... We want teachers and parents, no matter the location, to help students learn to enjoy reading in English. We think the best way to do that is to give students an opportunity to have a LOT of fun learning to read. We hope our silly stuff can be used in classrooms and at home to help elementary school students develop a real love of reading. Although our resources are not linked to Common Core targets they have been designed around high-density sight word/ high-frequency word texts. There is an emphasis on sound-spelling patterns and anomalies - ideal for developing basic literacy. Our e-books and lesson resources can be used as a side dish to your main course syllabus when you need a break from the target-driven classroom, or if you just want to see your students having fun reading and using the literacy skills and knowledge they have been developing in their regular lessons. All e-books and classroom resources for Level A, B and C stories will be fully available in Fall 2015. Find out a bit more about Team Ranterino at our website and see what other great stuff you can get for your lessons and your students at www.theranterino.com
