TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm in year 5 of teaching for the NYC DOE. I've taught sixth and seventh grade math for the last 4 years and currently teach fifth grade math. I think that knowing the content of middle school is helping me to be a successful 5th grade math teacher and my knowledge of technology makes it fun!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a very student centered classroom and I'm lucky enough to have plenty of technology to help with student inquiry. I use Google Classroom, Prodigy, and other websites to help students engage in learning. My whole room has a "Growth Mindset" theme and I'm all about positivity and positive self-talk in the classroom!
