I have taught a variety of computer classes in private and public schools, including Computer Applications for Business, Web Design, Computer Programming, and Digital Media. I recently earned my Ed.D. and currently focus on teaching and promoting use of technologies that support collaboration. I present at conferences and provide professional development workshops. Much of my technology training is self-taught and I know how much faster I can learn when someone with experience is available to guide me. My products have been developed from hours of independent exploration of new technologies that engage students. I have used all of the instructional materials that I have developed to train either students or faculty. Using the guides that I provide will save you time as you learn a new technology or prepare to teach these skills to others.
I focus on collaborative teaching and learning. I design instructional materials that facilitate learning of technologies that support collaboration and/or personalized learning, to teach students 21st Century skills as they work on projects for all content areas. My instructional guides are designed to be concise, with just the information that beginners need to get started and avoid common frustrations.
