TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Edward Hodge has been teaching 5th grade in Broken Arrow since the 2002-2003 school year. He holds two degrees from Northeastern State University: a bachelors degree in science and elementary education (BSED, Elementary Ed.) and a masters degree in education with an emphasis in school administration (M. Ed). Edward is an adjunct instructor at Tulsa Technology at The Eighth Floor teaching Education Technoolgy classes to Pre K to College teacher and support staff. His main teaching emphasis is iPads and Smartboards, but also teaches basic education technology and wrote a course on using QR codes in the classroom. Edward was selected by the Oklahoma State Department of Education as a member of the OSDE Math Leadership Class for the 2014-2015 school year. Selected as site Teacher of the Year 2015-2016 Awarded a NASA EPD Ambassador Gold Teacher of Distinction Serves on the Oklahoma Science Teachers Association Board Nominated for the PAEMST
