I have been a teacher in elementary education for 27 years. I have taught K, K-1, 1-2, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I taught Reading Recovery for 5 years and was a Reading First School Coach for 3 years.
All students have unique talents and strengths. I try to assist students in discovering those talents and work alongside them to facilitate their learning. Students excel with real-world, hands-on exploration. I hope to encourage students to take risks, make connections, and learn something new every day.
