TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 6th grade for 5 years in an elementary setting, and I loved it! I also taught as an assistant teacher for one year in a private preschool. As an elementary school teacher I feel like I teach "everything," but my favorite subjects are math and writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a technology endorsement and use technology in my lessons, and with my students, the majority of the day. We have enough computers for one for every two students. I like to use small group rotations for both Language Arts and Math. I think the smaller groups are more effective when I work with individuals.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Hopefully one day this will be full of some exceptional awards and honors :) .

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Utah. I recently finished an endorsement in technology.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love creating resources for my class knowing other teachers and students will be able to use them as well! Logo and Banner Design by A Little Peace of Africa
