I'm currently teaching in a Year 3 class, which I'm loving. They are at such a wonderful age and so eager to learn, without being too little/exhausting! :)
I'm a big fan of Gardiner's Multiple Intelligences, acknowledging that all students learn differently and it's important for us as teachers to cater to their learning styles/needs. I like to keep a positive attitude, but I also like to believe that I'm firm! I do think that it's important to have a rapport with students too (know them & how they learn). Loving this career so far!
My time will come! ;) P.S, there should be more awards for teachers, am I right?!
I graduated in the top 20 of my year academically, so I must be doing something right! Not boasting, I promise :) I just work hard and I think that is what makes us teachers so wonderful!
I'm originally from the U.K, but I've been living in Australia for nearly seven years now (and loving it!).
