TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began teaching English at a university in Quito, Ecuador. Since then, I earned my master's degree in TESOL and have been working in the California Community College System. I currently work as a program coordinator where I have been redesigning curriculum and teaching academic and noncredit ESL courses. I also run a teaching resource/networking website for language instructors.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a creative person, and that certainly is reflected in how I teach and the materials I make. If I'm not engaged and interested in what's going on in class, then how can I expect my students to be? Language learning should be interesting, relevant, and useful, and the learners should be doing most of the work in class.
