I worked as an instructional aide with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children for 10 years before I became a Bilingual teacher. I worked with kindergarten students for 5 years and 3 years as a first grade teacher. I am currently working in the middle school setting as a inclusion math teacher.
I love to use the hands on approach in teaching. I also incorporate the use of technology into my teaching with the use of computers, Smartboards, iPods and iPads. I think learning should be fun for the kids.
I have an Associates Degree in Interpreting for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I then earned a BS in Occupational Training and Development and I finally earned my MS in Elementary Education.
I am a middle school math teacher. I worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 5 years and First grade teacher for 3 years. Math is my passion and I am always looking for better ways to improve and teach concepts in my classroom.
