TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have spent 4 years teaching 3rd grade, and this is my first full year as a 6th grade teacher. I teach social studies, math, reading, and language arts!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like having a classroom with a strong focus on differentiation and questioning. I always ask my students "why?" or "how?" as a follow up to their answers, and I believe in hands on learning. Pairing movement with skills helps all learners succeed, which is why I make a lot of games and activities for my classroom!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The biggest honor? When a student said, "Mrs. Yeagle, I hated math last year, but this year I love it. You made me love math!"

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied Elementary Education, Writing, and Theatre at Eureka College, a small liberal arts college in Eureka, Illinois.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm a very crafty person and I love making new bulletin boards that tie in with writing assignments so we can display our work!

Teachers Pay Teachers

Teachers Pay Teachers is an online marketplace where teachers buy and sell original educational materials.
